1. Charlie Company Training Plan Release Policy

This policy exists to make clear the expectations of leaders within Charlie Company, and to ensure the timely release of training plans and objectives are distributed down the chain of command.

2. Company Training Plan

The Company Commander (or delegate) shall ensure a Company Level Training plan is released in accordance with the timeline in Section 5. This plan shall cover:

• 3 Monthly topics.
• 3 Monthly FTX alignment (where applicable).
• 3 Monthly Officer and NCO Leadership development sessions.
• Any other special instructions.

3. Platoon Training Plan

The Platoon Leader (or delegate) shall ensure a Platoon Level Training plan is released in accordance with the timeline in Section 5. This plan shall cover:

• The Company-level Monthly topic that is the subject of the Month’s focus.
• The Platoon Level Weekly topics that expand the Monthly topic into specific objectives for SLs to deliver practices on each week of the month.
• The upcoming Monthly FTX alignment (where applicable).
• The Monthly SL/ASL Leadership development sessions.
• Any Company level offering of Officer and NCO Leadership development sessions.
• Any other special instructions.

4. Section Training Plan

The Section Leader (or delegate) shall ensure a Section Level Training plan is released each week when posting their Roll Call in accordance with 7CAV-R-010, the timeline for which is dictated by 7CAV-BATT2-004.

6. Proactive release

All levels of the chain of command are encouraged to proactively release their training plans before their due date. There are known positive benefits to planning greater lengths of time to better communicate longer term focuses and goals.

Section Leaders may opt to release a monthly plan, but this must be linked in their roll-call to comply with the aforementioned SOP.
