|Lieutenant Colonel Justin Robbi joined the 7th Cavalry in October 2012 and has served in various locations, including CO for Alpha from September 2019 to July 2021, Aide to the Adjutant General / COS from September 2023 to February 2025, and Executive Officer for Bravo from February 2025 to March 2025. Serving with distinction in these areas and others, he earned multiple awards, including a Defense Distinguished Service Medal in 2020 for Alpha Company service, 2 Army Distinguished Service Medals, a Defense Superior Service Medal, a Bronze Star, 3 Army Air Medals, and 5 Superior Unit Citations.

The Reserve and Development Command (RDC) is responsible for administering all 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment growth efforts, from game identification, selection, mobilization, and growth through Starter Platoon to pre-Battalion. The department has full command of DEVCOM, the Auxiliary Combat Detachment, and the Reserve. The Branch is referred to as "RDC". The Department reports to Regimental Headquarters. The department was established on February 13th, 2025, when all functions were merged under a unified command system.

Introduction

The Reserve and Development Command Office oversees game identification, selection, mobilization, and growth, acting as the departmental leadership of DEVCOM and the line unit leadership of ACD and the Reserves in the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment. The department is responsible for advising the commander on all matters involving growth and sustainment. Day-to-day operations include leading the department, training all new sub-unit senior leadership, and facilitating the resolution of issues extending beyond their scope of authority.

Mission

The mission of the Reserve and Development Command Office is to provide sustainable growth through identifying and delivering new game opportunities and sustaining the reserves of the 7th Cavalry to generate net growth in the unit membership and presence across multiple platforms and MILSIM applicable genres.

Subordinate Departments

The Reserve and Development Command Office has full command of three departments: The Development Command department, the Auxiliary Combat Detachment, and the Reserve.

Development Command Auxiliary Combat Detachment Reserve
The Development Command department serves to identify, propose, plan, mobilise, and develop early-stage (Squad to Company) new-game Area of Operations before handing over to ACD. The Auxiliary Combat Detachment serves to provide enduring line-billet leadership for a variety of new-game Area of Operations from the Company to the Pre-Battalion stage. The 7th Cavalry Regiment Reserve, or "Reserve," is a company-sized formation responsible for administering all members of the 7th Cavalry who are reservists.
