Trooper Transfer Process

The following guide contains the whole process of initiating and forwarding a transfer request within the 7th Cavalry Regiment. It also sets the authority of approving transfer requests. This guide is valid for transfer requests at all levels (Section, Platoon, Company, Battalion).

Primary Billets

Posting authority lies with the receiving element lead.

  • Transfers will be placed on hold if disciplinary action is pending
  • Transfers from Battalion to Battalion will be approved by the Chief of Staff

If a Trooper wishes to transfer outside of their Company, they will fill out the transfer PAF:

Transfers within a Company can still be handled internally.

  • Transfers from Company to Company in the same Battalion must be approved by a member of Battalion Staff on the transfer PAF

Eligible Transfer Destinations:

  • A/1-7
  • B/1-7
  • C/1-7
