Alpha Company is a sub-unit level organization of the Auxiliary Combat Detachment, 7th Cavalry Regiment. It is administratively known as A/ACD, this abbreviation is used in MILPACS and avatars. It is currently comprised of a single Platoon, 1/A/ACD.
Mission
Alpha Company is an Infantry Company tasked with assisting the United Nations in Tarkov (UNTAR) in aid distribution and pacifying the local populace within the city of Tarkov, Norvinsk Special Economic Region of Russia. Alpha Company also operates as a tactical strike force for UNTAR in kinetic negotiations with local criminals, warlords, and unsanctioned Private Military Contractors that have started to make a home in the city of Tarkov.
Traditions and History
Prior to October 2021, Alpha Company began operations in April 2020 as Detachment 5620, HHC, 7th Cavalry Regiment on a trial basis to determine future success.
