Introduction

Candidate Applications and personnel within S6/IMO Department will be required to comply with our restrictions for specific billets as defined. Positions of Battalion and Company level leadership will be unable to apply or take part in S6 Department as Staff. Personnel within S6 that are promoted or transferred into a Battalion or Company HQ position will be removed from the department.

Purpose

The primary purpose of this policy is to ensure that we maintain accountability and non-partisan approval authority for all actions done within the department.

With many engagements requiring approval authority by Battalion or Company Staff. There is a conflict of interest in having those with ability to make changes also be their own approval authority. With our commitment to maintaining accountability and unbiased work for the organization this policy will restrict those that would allow for loop holes within the approval authority requirement.

Scope

This Policy applies to all S6 Personnel, Battalion Staff and Company Staff. Who intend to be apart of the S6 Department as a secondary billet.

Overview

S6 Department will remove/reject personnel within the following billets:

• Battalion Leadership.
• Company Leadership.

Those within S6 Department will be notified that if they are promoted / transferred into Battalion or Company Positions they will be removed from the department non-punitively in compliance with this policy.
