Introduction
Welcome to the official webpage for the 7th Cavalry Modpack. Officially dubbed as "CavPack".
CavPack is a package of Arma 3 mods that have been chosen to be used in all official 7th Cavalry Operations. We try our best to select mods that would fit well in the experience we are trying to provide for our members.
Currently our modpack is running on all three of our training servers.
Installation
Arma 3 Modpack
Introduction
Welcome to the official installation guide for the official 7th Cavalry Modpack! Let's begin!
Required Programs
There's some programs you're going to need for this guide! Let's get em! Just click on the name of the program to download it.
Once you have all of those, you're good to go!
Setting up Teamspeak 3
After you've installed TeamSpeak, we need to install the Task Force Radio plugin that we use in our modpack. This is a very simple installation
- Download our latest supported version of TFR. Available here.
- Navigate to your TeamSpeak 3 client directory. There may be multiple TeamSpeak 3 folders on your computer. The one we're looking for will have a folder called "plugins".
- Open "cavpackts3.zip" and extract either the 32 or 64 bit plugin file to your plugins directory. Also extract the sounds folder into the same directory.
- Launch TeamSpeak 3
- Open the plugins menu under "settings", and enable Task Force Arma 3 Radio.
- If you do not see the plugin, click "Reload All".
You're done setting up TeamSpeak 3! Onto installing the mods!
Installing the CavPack with Arma3Sync
Installing CavPack with Arma3Sync is super simple, follow along closely and you'll have no issues.
- Download and Install Arma3Sync.
- When you first open Arma3Sync, it will ask you to locate your Arma 3 executable.
- Arma 3 is located in Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3.
- Once you've selected your install directory, click the "Repositories" tab.
- Click the blue plus icon on the right hand side to add a Repo.
- Paste in the following URL for "Public auto-config url" and click "Import"
- If it gives you an error the first time, try it once more.
- You'll know it has succeeded when the repository name and host fields are populated with info.
- Click Ok, it will attempt to connect to the repo.
- Select the repo, and click the connect to repository button.
- Click "select all", then click the download button.
- Wait for it to finish, it may take awhile. You can customize your download settings before starting the download.
- Ignore/cancel any prompts about TFAR, as we are distributing the TS3 plugin separately.
The modpack is now installed! We recommend using Arma's built in launcher to add the mods.
Updating the CavPack with Arma3Sync
Update by selecting the repository and following the same procedure used to download the mod initially.
Arma3Sync Additional Information
Additional information is available on the official Arma3Sync Wiki. Located here.

Air Cav Vietnam (ACV) Modpack
Introduction
Welcome to the official installation guide for the official ACV 7th Cavalry Modpack! Let's begin!
Required Programs
There's some programs you're going to need for this guide! Let's get em! Just click on the name of the program to download it.
• Steam • Arma 3 • TeamSpeak 3 • BitTorrent Sync
Once you have all of those, you're good to go! Please note that we only officially support BitTorrent Sync. We no longer offer an official zip file for the pack, any other host is totally unsupported.
Setting up Teamspeak 3

Available here. Navigate to your TeamSpeak 3 client directory. There may be multiple TeamSpeak 3 folders on your computer. The one we're looking for will have a folder called "plugins". Onto installing the mods!
Installing the ACV CavPack with BitTorrent Sync 2.0 Installing the ACV CavPack with BTSync is super simple, follow along closely and you'll have no issues.
If you have a previous installation of CavPack, remove all of it's files. Install BitTorrent Sync using the default settings, name your device alias whichever you prefer. You will be forced to use a 30 day trial of BTSync Pro. Just let it run it's course and expire, we do not need any of it's features. Click the following link and BTSync will open and automatically link to the folder. BTSync Link If the link opens and does nothing, copy the url and paste it into the "manual connection" window. Found under the gear icon in BTSync. Change the "Save to location" to your Arma 3 root directory. Verify that the directory ends in /arma3/. Be sure you select the option called "Overwrite any changed files" in the Preferences (3 dots, preferences). Leave "Sync all" enabled. It might verify that you are selecting a folder with contents already inside, click okay. This is not an issue because we are not overwriting any vanilla files. You're set! After a few moments you will start syncing with the current ModPack's build. The modpack is now installed! We recommend using Arma's built in launcher to add the mods.
Updating the ACV CavPack with BitTorrent Sync Nam As long as you keep BitTorrent Sync running, your modpack will automatically be updated when we push an update out from our servers.
Installing the Vietnam Map To play on all Air Cav servers, you must have the most recent version of the Nam map that can be downloaded from the Steam Workshop here.
Installing the Air Cav Vietnam- Steam Workshop Pack You Will also need to install the Air Cav Vietnam from Steam Workshop at this link here.
