The Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)

Like its real life US Army equivalent, the Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) Code is used to identify the specific job and primary billet of a member of the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment. Available and active MOS' are determined by the Regiment and implemented by the Battalion CO or appropriate game lead of an area of operation (AO). The Regimental Chief of Staff (COS) is ultimately responsible for all MOS' in the unit and is the final authority on all MOS issues. The S1 Department will maintain this MOS list for uniform, MILPAC, transfer, and other personnel administration purposes.

A trooper is granted an MOS through assignment to a particular unit and game/Area of Operations (AO). For example, if PVT.Smith.K, after completing RTC, is assigned to A/1-7 he will take on the MOS of 15P for his time in Alpha Company, 1st Battalion in the Arma Reforger AO.
