History

Battlefield 6 Stand-Up

Battlefield 6 was initially proposed as a viable candidate for the 7th Cavalry on 08MAY25 by Development Command Future Concepts Center (FCC) analyst SGT Marcel Laui. Research was conducted primarily by SPC Tristan Murdock under Laui's supervision. After 20AUG25, FCC analysts CW2 Barry Cade and SGT Andrew Mack joined the research effort. The proposal was submitted to DEVCOM Headquarters for official review on 22AUG25, an interest survey was opened on 01SEP25, and DEVCOM HQ formally approved the proposal on 04SEP25.

At the time of approval, DEVCOM Headquarters consisted of:

The DEVCOM Lead position for Battlefield 6 was posted on 17AUG25 and CPT Enzo Argentini, executive officer of B/2-7 in Hell Let Loose at the time, was hired into the role on 23SEP25. On 03OCT25, the new starter platoon formally stood up as 3/D/DEVCOM under DEVCOM, with Argentini as acting Platoon Leader.

Argentini departed the role on 27NOV25, after which 2LT Laui resumed interim leadership while still serving as the formal DEVCOM Lead for Star Citizen. On 30DEC25, Laui was formally reassigned from Star Citizen to Battlefield 6 as DEVCOM Lead. On 31JAN26, 1st Platoon, the starter platoon graduated and C/ACD was formally stood up under the Auxiliary Combat Detachment to serve as the permanent home of the Battlefield 6 Area of Operation, with 1LT Marcel Laui assuming acting command of both the company and the platoon.

Battlefield 6 Past Staff

The following lists Battlefield 6 staff positions held within Charlie Company, broken down per section. Each table lists current and past C/ACD occupants above the divider; entries Under 3/D/DEVCOM (grayed) record the same role while the unit was the precursor starter platoon under Development Command (prior to 31JAN26). One row per assignment — rank changes within a single assignment are not given separate rows.

Squad Era (2022–2025)

C/ACD was originally formed on 18SEP22 as a starter platoon for the third iteration of Squad, sitting under ACD Headquarters. At the time of its formation, ACD HQ was led by LTC Rogers (Commanding Officer), MAJ Budd (Executive Officer), and SGM Preacher (Sergeant Major). Internal transfers from other 7th Cavalry units into the new Squad AO opened on 24SEP22, allowing the platoon to grow into a full company over the following years.

The unit served under the Auxiliary Combat Detachment for approximately two and a half years. On 14JUN25 it was formally stood up to the 3-7 Battalion as a new Area of Operation — the second AO stood up in 3-7 since the battalion's inception on 01APR24 — and C/ACD was formally stood down the same day and placed into reserve status.
