A trooper is granted an MOS through assignment to a particular unit and Area of Operations (AO). For example, if PVT.Smith.K, after completing RTC, is assigned to A/1-7 he will take on the MOS of 15P for his time in Alpha Company, 1st Battalion in the Arma Reforger AO.
