* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' Intentionally team killing or griefing teammates undermines team play. While friendly fire and equipment loss are realistic, they should be avoided to maintain a positive gaming environment.
: ''Spirit of the rule'' - Intentionally team killing other players or griefing teammates is detrimental to the spirit of team play. While friendly fire and equipment loss is a reality on the battlefield, it is generally unacceptable and should be avoided.

Exceptions to the rule - For training purposes; a trainer may utilize a very limited team killing of ONLY cadre players in order to serve a legitimate training purpose (e.g for qualifications). A written training plan containing the circumstances of the usage of the planned team killing must be approved by Company Staff prior to the training date.

* No camping of the enemy HQ’s is allowed. The HQs may be engaged freely if the final objective is active.
* Camping enemy HQs is not allowed, except when the final objective is active.

* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' This rule ensures fair competition. Blocking spawns prevents players from enjoying the game. If an enemy is trapped, fall back to allow them a chance to fight, unless the game mode requires otherwise.
: ''Spirit of the rule'' - This rule is about fair competition. We want everyone to have fun, therefore everyone should get the opportunity to fight back. If you see that the enemy is unable to get out of their spawn area, you need to fall back. We do not wish to create an environment where we are ruining their fun. The exception would be if the game mode forces you to move into spawn.

* All Squads in the game must have a Squad Leader.
* All squads must have a Squad Leader.
* The exception to this is during swaps for legitimate game purposes such as node building.
* Exceptions are allowed for legitimate game purposes (e.g., node building, competitive match tactics, or training), but a Squad Leader should be reestablished when practical.
* When practical, a Squad Leader should be reestablished.
* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' Requiring a Squad Leader supports team-play mechanics like outposts and garrisons, enhancing the server's tactical environment and overall enjoyment.

: ''Spirit of the rule'' - The 7th Cavalry Regiment encourages focused team-play mechanics that are synonymous with the in-game mechanics of Hell Let Loose. Not having an Officer/Squad Leader prevents the section from having outposts and from placing Garrisons. We believe requiring an Officer/Squad Leader to be in each section enriches the server environment and contributes to a high level of game play and enjoyment.
'''5. All Squad Leaders and Commanders Must Have A Microphone'''

'''5. All Players Must Have A Microphone'''
----

*All players must have a microphone to communicate with their Squad and other Squad Leaders.
* Squad Leaders, Tank Commanders, and Commanders must have a microphone to communicate with their squad and other leaders.
*Commanders and Squad Leaders must have a microphone to communicate with their team and other Squad Leaders.
* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' Effective communication is critical for squad and team coordination. Leaders without microphones hinder gameplay and team cohesion.

: ''Spirit of the rule'' - 7th Cavalry members should always promote positive communication while playing with others.

* Recon squads must not be locked with fewer than 2 players.
: ''Spirit of the rule'' - Armor is a vital asset to each team. To make best use of the armor, there needs to be 2-3 players in each tank.
* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' Armor and recon are vital team assets. Multiple players ensure their effective use, maximizing team success. Any solo armor crews must stay in the HQ until they have a second player.

* The current sector point will be the only playable objective
* When both teams have fewer than 20 players, only the current sector point or up to the middle point in warfare is playable.
* No Vehicles other than Supply and Transport Trucks are allowed to leave the HQ sectors
* No vehicles, except Supply and Transport Trucks, may advance beyond HQ Sector for the duration of the seed.
* This only applies to CAV VS. CAV or when there is a planned operation. At the discretion of the field commander in regular operations, units may proceed as normal to engage in order to properly seed standard gameplay.
* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' During low player counts, limiting combat to the current sector with reduced combined arms promotes a balanced and enjoyable experience until standard gameplay resumes.

: ''Spirit of the rule'' - When both teams have less than 20 players in organized matches, both teams agree to only play over the current sector (map dependent) with reduced combined arms to promote a better player experience until there are enough players to seed standard gameplay.
'''8. No Administration Abuse'''

'''8. No Abuse of Vote to Kick'''
----
----
* No 7th Cavalry players should abuse the vote to kick option of players for any reason that is not legitimately detrimental to gameplay.
* 7th Cavalry administrators must not kick or ban players for reasons not violating the ROE.
* No vote to kick in order to make room or for other non abuse reasoning.
* Admin tools (e.g., admin cam) must not be used for gameplay advantages.

* '''Spirit of the Rule:''' Administrators must uphold a positive image and fair environment. Misusing tools undermines the regiment's values and the server's integrity.
: ''Spirit of the rule'' - 7th Cavalry members should always promote a positive image and gaming environment. Kicking players out for reasons other than abuse would not be conducive to maintain a positive image or to the spirit of what we stand for.
