S1 Service Records SOP

Purpose: To serve as a Standard Operating Procedure for MILPAC service record entries Important: NOTE: You do not need to type (Citation) anymore, go ahead and only copy and paste the Service Record. If a Citation is required you will add the Citation as a File. Anything that is in italics is only used to explain the text above it. Any {Text in here} should be replaced with the correct information and then the remove the brackets on the Service Record Entry o EXAMPLE: if it says “Transferred and Assigned Trooper {A/1/A/1-7}”, the correct Service Record Entry would look like: Transferred and Assigned Trooper A/2/B/2-7, if A/2/B/2-7 was where they were transferred.

Boot Camp

Used when promoting a new recruit to PVT or creating a new MILPACS profile

Transfers

Used when a trooper is transferred from one Section/Platoon/Company/Battalion to another

Reinstated, Reduction in Rank to {Corporal (E-4)}, Transferred and Assigned {Trooper A/1/B/2-7} Used for re-enlisted members with a reduced rank and do not need boot camp Returned from Retirement, Reduction in Rank to {Corporal (E-4)}, Assigned {Section Leader A/1/A/1-7} Transferred and Assigned {Armor Crewman A/1/A/1-7} Transferred and Assigned Section Leader {A/1/A/1-7} Removed from {Platoon Sergeant 1/A/1-7} transferred and assigned {Trooper C/2/B/1-7} Normally used when a trooper is removed from a leadership billet Assigned {Section Leader A/1/A/1-7} Used when a member is assigned a position but does not make a movement to another section. Ex. A trooper promoted to SL for the same section. The member have the same AO, but a new position.

ELOA

Used for anytime a trooper is placed or returns from ELOA
