S7 Training - Class Attendance Policy

This policy outlines what constitutes attendance for an official S7 Regimental Class.

Credit for Classes

A member is eligible for credit for attending an official Regimental class if:

  • Their name is on the S7 Graduation post
  • They attended the entire class
  • The member has met all required class pre-requisites for said class as determined by S7 HQ
  • The member is not currently under a No-Favorable Action (NFA) period
  • The member is not currently on Extended Leave of Absence (ELOA)
  • The member is not retired or discharged
  • Reservists can attend S7 "game" related classes and receive credit
  • Reservists cannot attend non-game related courses such as NCOA, ODS, and Server Admin Course and cannot receive credit
  • If the member is a recruit, they must have completed Basic Combat Training (Bootcamp) for Arma 3, or have completed a briefing with their Drill Sergeant for Squad, Hell Let Loose, or another officially supported game

Non-Attendance Policy

If a member is unable to attend a S7 class, a courtesy should be extended to message the Instructor who posted the class that they will not be present. Real life happens, and that is understandable, but Instructors are people with real lives as well, and are making the extra effort to provide YOU additional content and training for your game. Some classes also have limits on the number of students available to take the class, and this is disrupted when the slot you signed up for could have effectively gone to someone else. Please always give both the Instructor(s) and your fellow students the courtesy of not wasting their time by giving advanced notice if you are unable to make it.
