The primary intent of roll-calls is to provide a place for people to post every week who may otherwise not have a reason to post and subsequently wind up being discharged AWOL.  It's important to understand that a distinguishing feature of the Cav is 'What you see is what you get'.  In other words, when we say we have 350 members, it means we actually have 350 active members unlike many other units out there.

Section 1: Overview

Purpose:
The purpose of this SOP is to provide guidance on the requirement for roll-calls and to set out the minimum standard required for roll-calls.

The information provided in this document is provided by the Regimental Command Sergeant Major and authorized by the Regimental Commanding Officer and may only be amended by direction of a member of the General Staff.

Section 2: Intent of Roll-Calls
