All Concerned,

Please allow this letter to serve as ongoing guidance with regards to the wearing of tags, acceptable practices, and special situations that may arise. As per established practice this information will be added to the wiki.

With regards to the wearing of tags in areas that support clan systems ( such as but not exclusively limited to CS:GO via Steam Tag Management ) it is acceptable and encouraged to leave the =7Cav= off of your name during play and to have this information stored in your 'clan tag' section of steam.

This will cause the leaderboard ( if playing with all cav members ) to say "Terrorists vs 7th Cavalry Regiment" or the opposite depending on the side of play. After leaving game the steam name should be readjusted to reflect.

There is no 'requirement' to take advantage of this during gameplay, and this is borne out of a request from the CS:GO base ( admittedly it is better optics ).

We will continue to look at how we can better leverage these types of systems going forward.

Regards,

the COS
