BG James "Krazee" Foster Lifetime Achievement Medal
The Brigadier General James "Krazee" Foster Lifetime Achievement Medal is of the highest decoration awarded to 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment members for significant real life contributions to the Regiment. The medal was commissioned in 2012 after the passing of its namesake, BG James Foster. The medal is awarded alongside the CSM Ronnie "Coldblud" Bussey Lifetime Achievement Medal.
Introduction
The award was created in honor of BG Krazee for his extensive work developing the S1 department, and rules and procedures in the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment.
History of the Awards Namesake
Brigaider General James Foster enlisted in the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment in January 2008. Upon completion of basic training, he was assigned as an infantryman in A/1-7 CAV and then A/2-7 CAV. He was quickly promoted to become a non-commissioned Officer. In June 2008 he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant of Infantry, and assigned to 1st Platoon B/2-7 CAV. His leadership ability was again recognized and by August of 2008 he was assigned as a Company Commander. In 2009 he was promoted Colonel and assigned Chief of Staff Regimental Headquarters (CoS Regt HQ).

James Foster served with the United States Army for 6 years, retiring in 2005.
Passing
COL Krazee passed away August 21st, 2009. He was posthumously promoted to Brigadier General in recognition of his significant contributions on August 28th, 2009.

In his original MILPACS biography, General Krazee stated: "So here I sit, a proud member of the 7th Cavalry, and you will have to kill me to get me out".
BG James "Krazee" Foster Lifetime Achievement Medal
At the time, the 7th Cavalry was much smaller and largely played Call of Duty. Later in 2008, the 7th Cavalry would adopt Arma, and rapidly grow. This major increase in personnel required a major change in administration, and policy. Prior to the major increase in members, the Regiment had largely operated with adhoc structures and had few official policies and procedures. BG Krazee saw this and set upon a path to create detailed policies and administrative structures to support the rapidly growing membership.
The award itself is awarded yearly to an officer who has made significant contributions to the Regiment over a long period. There are no specific criteria for the award, however sustained significant service, major projects, and conduct are all factored into deciding who the award is bestowed upon.
Frequency of Awarding
Since the establishment of the award, the honor is awarded once per year.
Eligibility
Only officers are eligible for the award.
Decision for the Award
Yearly, a board of all regimental staff, with representations from the Battalion and Department staff decide and vote on who will receive the award.
Physical Award Characteristics
The BG Krazee award consists of a medal, worn over the neck and supported by a four colour ribbon. The ribbon is 75% black in the center, with the colours of the American flag, Red, White, and Blue each taking up 4.16% space, beginning with red on the outside of the ribbon. The ribbon forms a knot in the center with the 1st Cavalry Division patch prominently centered. The medal itself is brass, with the word "Brother" written on a bar connected to the medal. The medal is full color, with the American Flag waving in the background. A rifle with helmet on top, supported by a pair of combat boots in a sihlouette features prominently in the center, representing the fallen member BG Krazee and real life connection to the United States Army.
