With regards to administrative access assignment across Big Brother Bot and Teamspeak 3, this document will serve to supersede all previous memorandum covering the subject. It serves to provide guidance on when and how this access is to be assigned, and to whom. Deviation from this guidance will be monitored by the IMO/SECOPS group, and will be investigated.


Assignment of Admin Access - Big Brother Bot

Level of Access: Super Admin

  • General Staff Officers
  • IMO Staff, where required for the function of their duties

Level of Access: Admin

  • Officer Grade(s) O1 and above
  • Warrant Officer Grade(s) WO1 and above
  • Staff NCO and Non Commissioned Officer Grade(s) E5+
  • Personnel billeted in RTC/MP/S2/CID/JAG regardless of Grade
  • Special Caveat, on a case by case basis, Battalion Command may recommend B3 LVL40 (Admin) rights for a section leader who is a Corporal. This is an exceptional issue, and not the standard.

Level of Access: Moderator

  • Section Leaders (within their assigned AO)


Responsibilities of Admin Access - Big Brother Bot

Level of Access: Super Admin

  • Any and all as may be required

Level of Access: Admin

  • Issue Rules to Public Players in accordance with administrative guidelines
  • Kick problem players in accordance with administrative guidelines
  • Ban problem players in accordance with administrative guidelines
  • Fill out ban reports per guidelines

Level of Access: Moderator

  • Change maps in training servers ( ARMA3 excluded )


Assignment of Administrative Groups - Teamspeak 3

Level of Access: Server Admin

  • General Staff
  • Regimental Command Sergeant Major
  • IMO Staff

Level of Access: Admin

  • Battalion level staff regardless of grade
  • Personnel billeted in MP/S2/JAG
  • OICs of all departments

Level of Access: Operator

  • Section Leaders
  • Platoon, Company or Battalion leadership positions
  • Department NCOIC and XO's
  • Personnel billeted as MPIT
  • Personnel billeted as SPD Aids

Capabilities of Administrative Groups - Teamspeak 3

Level of Access: Server Admin

  • Inherits permissions from Admins
  • Create/Modify Channels
  • Create/Modify Groups
  • Add Admins/Server Admins/Operators

Level of Access: Admin

  • Move Anyone
  • Kick/Ban Anyone
  • Add Operators

Level of Access: Operator

  • Move Anyone
  • Kick/Ban Public Players

Special Actions

  • Rank Changes: Any member with Operator/Admin/Server Admin access can/will assist with rank changes after verifying the promotion post.
  • Admin Assignment: Privilege keys will be used to assign members to any of the administrative groups. These keys will be sent to the individual via PM on the forum.


RRD/RTC Admin Assignment/Capabilities

Drill Instructor/Recruiter groups now have separate permission sets assigned to their groups. They have access to the following commands:

  • Move Anyone


Both of these groups will be assigned by Admins / Server Admins.
