Alpha Company is an Infantry Company tasked with assisting the United Nations in Tarkov (UNTAR) in aid distribution and pacifying the local populace within the city of Tarkov, Norvinsk Special Economic Region of Russia. Alpha Company also operates as a tactical strike force for UNTAR in kinetic negotiations with local criminals, warlords, and unsanctioned Private Military Contractors that have started to make a home in the city of Tarkov.

Due to unprecedented growth, Alpha Company was split from the Auxiliary Combat Detachment and formed the newly minted 3-7 Battalion on April 1st, 2024. This is the first time in the Cav's history with three individual battalions since its start in 2002. Alpha Company was subsequently deactivated that same day.

History

Due to unprecedented growth, Alpha Company was split from the Auxiliary Combat Detachment and formed the newly minted 3-7 Battalion on April 1st, 2024.
