Purpose

Outline individual Roles and Responsibilities within S1 HQ.

Roles and Responsibilities

S1

The OIC of S1 is to execute the vision of the Regiment with respect to the upkeep and maintenance of personnel records within the 7th Cavalry regiment. Specifically, any current implementation of MILPACs and relevant data/tools.

Role Description
S1
  • Responsible for the ongoing health and morale of the department in all respects
  • Must attend one of the CSCs in a given quarter.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the Department, such as reports, Helpdesk tickets and disciplinary actions, or delegate to XO/NCOIC as needed
  • Train and supervise S1 HQ staff
  • Create and maintain record citations, or delegate as needed
  • To maintain the overall integrity of all S1 records and data-sets

S1 XO

The XO of S1 is to support the OIC in the execution of duties assigned to the department by the regiment with respect to the upkeep and maintenance of personnel records. Specifically, any current implementation of MILPACs and relevant data/tools to be maintained by the department.

Role Description
S1 XO
  • Responsible for the ongoing health and morale of the department in all respects
  • Must attend one of the CSCs in a given quarter.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the Department, such as helpdesk tickets, processing disciplinary actions or any task delegated by the OIC.
  • Create and maintain record citations, or delegate as needed

S1 NCOIC

The NCOIC of S1 is to support the OIC in the execution of duties assigned to the department by the regiment with respect to the upkeep and maintenance of personnel records. Specifically, any current implementation of MILPACs and relevant data/tools to be maintained by the department.

Role Description
S1 NCOIC
  • Primary point of contact for the Sub-Department Leads.
  • Responsible for the ongoing health and morale of the department in all respects
  • Must attend one of the CSCs in a given quarter.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the Department, such as monitoring departments, managing the permissions for personnel changes in the department.
  • Create and maintain record citations, or delegate as needed
  • Assign and maintain Owncloud access to all comings and goings of the department.
