Introduction
The document presented here will cover the topic of game servers hosted by non-S6/Regiment recognized personnel. The purpose of this SOP is to clarify, define, and set in stone the Regimental Policy and stance on servers hosted by non-IMO/S6/Regimental Staff recognized personnel.
Server Hosting
Servers for an officially supported area of operations may only be hosted with Regimental Support/Structure: I.E., S6. Dedicated servers hosted for a non-official game (For example, "Project Zomboid") are allowed to be hosted by personnel outside of IMO/Regiment, on condition that they are not named for or directly affiliated with the 7th Cavalry.
Official Events on non-7th Cavalry Servers
Official events, such as Section Practices or Operations, are not to be hosted on servers within an AO hosted by 7Cav personnel outside of IMO/Regiment. For clarity, sanctioned official events, such as events hosted by other units, may be hosted on another units' server - but events hosted by 7Cav personnel on non-sanctioned servers is prohibited.
