Role of Battalion Staff
The role of the Battalion Staff is to execute the vision of the Regiment respective to the Military Occupation Specialties assigned to the Battalion. The Battalion Staff is comprised of the following:
- Battalion Commander
- Battalion Executive Officer
- Battalion Sergeant Major
Responsibilities
The following is a list of basic responsibilities. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, merely the base on which to start.
- Responsible for the ongoing health and morale of the Battalion in all respects.
- Be available to the troopers of the Battalion at all times when online.
- Admin game servers as required.
- Perform administrative duties associated with the Battalion, i.e. reports, discipline.
- Train and directly supervise company staff.
- Other duties as required.

Daily Duties (When Online)
- Take Care of Troopers - When on TeamSpeak be available to talk to people. Make an effort once daily (when online) to meet with members of Company staffs for the purpose of:
- developing relationships
- identifying key problems
- answering questions
- supporting Company Staff
- Discharges - Monitor discharge requests as they occur for issues that may be popping up in a specific area. Follow up as required.
- Approve promotion requests that require Battalion Approval (NCO's to MSG, Officers below the rank of LTC.)
- Approve transfer requests between companies as required.
- Review all Negative Counseling Statements as they occur for correctness and awareness of specific issues.
- Work as part of the Battalion Staff team to ensure all companies are running effectively and work with each Company and the rest of the Staff to come up with plans to address any issues or shortcomings.
- Counseling - Issue initial, verbal and negative counselling to Company Staff as required to ensure understanding and compliance with rules, regulations and minimum expectations.
- Pass information both up and down the chain of command in an accurate and timely manner as required.
- Other duties as may be required.
