Introduction
Easy Company, 2nd Battalion is a sub-unit of the 7th Cavalry focused on Hell Let Loose (HLL). It is administratively known as E/2-7; and this is the abbreviation used in MILPACs and Forums. It is comprised of three platoons: 1st Platoon, consisting of infantry; 2nd Platoon, which includes two infantry squads and two combat engineer squads; and 3rd Platoon, which contains four squads of Armor Crewmen. The Company was re-activated on March 18th, 2024 due to the growth and expansion of 2nd Battalion and our HLL area of operations.

| Infantry Officer (11A) | The infantry officer is responsible for leading Platoons within Easy Company. Ensuring the readiness of troopers and crewmen. Troopers that serve as an infantry officer have priority for leadership positions in operations. |
| Armor Officer (19A) | The Armor Officer is responsible for leading armored platoons within the company. They ensure the readiness of tank crews and maintain the operational capability of armored creman. Troopers who serve as Armor Officers have priority for leadership positions involving armored operations. |
| Infantry (11B) | The Infantry are experts in individual skill and teamwork coordination.
Through larger platoon actions, whether in defense or offense, the infantry squad utilizes all member classifications to overwhelm the enemy and seize the objective. Members of the Infantry are masters in land warfare, communication, and tactical movement. In the Infantry, every member is a rifleman first and a specialist second. As a trooper, each rifleman will train extensively on marksmanship, control over their weapon systems, and team battle drills. Additionally, troopers train in coordination with other support elements to improve our combined arms operations. |
| Combat Engineer (12B) | Combat engineers, also known as sappers, are specialized soldiers who provide engineering support on the battlefield. Their primary role is to ensure the mobility, survivability, and functionality of their own forces while impeding the movement and capabilities of the enemy. This includes tasks such as constructing and maintaining field fortifications, laying or clearing mines, and demolishing obstacles -- including enemy mechanized assets. |
| Armor Crewman (19K) | As an Armor Crewman, you'll work as part of a team to operate tanks and assault vehicles and fire weapons to destroy enemy positions. You'll need to be ready to operate various armored chassis in all positions. These positions include Driver, Gunner, and Tank Commander (TC). The Driver is responsible for maneuvering the vehicle and operating the bow gun, if equipped. The Gunner is responsible for round selection and engagement of targets designated by the TC. The TC is in command of the vehicle, and is responsible for issuing orders to crewmen within their vehicle, prioritizing target assignments, coordinating with other units, and executing orders given by the Commander.
Armor is a mobile support force capable of running operations on its own on a limited scale. Armor are primarily a support force engaged with infantry used to take and hold a key area from the enemy or to deny them access to such by utilizing combined arms warfare. Armor is to be used in close order with Infantry. |
