3BN Reporting Deadlines

All 3-7 Company reporting deadlines are superseded by this post and must be enforced by all 3-7 leadership billets.

The 7th Cavalry Week

  • The 7th Cavalry week officially starts every Saturday and ends every Friday.

Roll Call Deadline

  • Section Roll Calls (RC) are always due for the current Cav week latest to be posted by the appropriate staff no later than Sunday at 0700Z (0300).
  • Section Roll Calls (RC) for the next 7Cav week need to be posted within 24 hours of the ending of the previous Section Practice in the respective forum bei the appropriate staff.
  • Late Section RC post means troopers cannot reply to post to be accounted for the week, which interrupts our entire accountability process. Thus,
    • All late RC posts by SL's and ASL's must be counselled accordingly by Platoon Staff within 3 days.

Section Reports

  • Every week a weekly section report needs to be submitted through the regimental reporting system no later than Saturday, 2359 Zulu.
  • In addition weekly roll calls need to be reviewed, closed and reported through the 3-7 Battalion Reporting system by section staff no later than every Friday, 2359 Zulu

Platoon reports

  • Every week a weekly staff report needs to be submitted through the regimental reporting systems individually by each Platoon staff member no later than Saturday, 2359 Zulu
  • In addition every week Platoon staff needs to review and audit the weekly Section Roll Call reports and approve them no later than Saturday, 2359 zulu.
  • Platoon staff may be asked to provide additional reports at the discretion of company or battalion staff.

Company Reports

  • Every week a weekly staff report needs to be submitted through the regimental reporting systems by each Company Staff member no later than Saturday, 2359 Zulu
  • In addition every week a weekly company report needs to be submitted by company staff through the 3-7 Battalion reporting system. This has to be done no later than Sunday, 2359 Zulu.
  • Company staff may be asked to provide additional reports at the discretion of battalion staff.

The Chain of Command

  • Platoon Staff will ensure that SL/ASL's are posting Section Roll Calls on time, as well as conducting weekly RC audits to ensure accuracy and regular updates, and coach and counsel as required.
  • Platoon Staff will ensure that all Section Roll Calls are reviewed and closed out weekly by the responsible section staff no later than Friday 2359 Zulu.
  • Platoon Staff will audit weekly Section Reports and ensure they are submitted no later than Saturday, 2359 Zulu for the previous Cav week. Platoon staff will coach and perform disciplinary action as required.
  • Company Staff will ensure that Platoon Staff is submitting their weekly Staff Report no later than Saturday 2359 zulu for the previous Cav week. Company Staff will coach and perform disciplinary action as required.
  • Company Staff will ensure that Platoon Staff is submitting their weekly Roll Call Reports no later than Saturday 2359 zulu for the previous Cav week. Company Staff will coach and perform disciplinary action as required.
  • Battalion Staff will ensure that Company Staff is submitting their weekly Staff Report no later than Saturday 2359 zulu for the previous Cav week. Battalion Staff will coach and perform disciplinary action as required.
  • Battalion Staff will ensure that Company Staff is submitting their weekly Company Staff report no later than Saturday 2359 zulu for the previous Cav week. Battalion Staff will coach and perform disciplinary action as required.
  • Good judgement can be exercised at all levels of the chain of command when it comes to excusing reporting deadlines and counselling when issues are communicated in advance or extenuating circumstances exist.
