Introduction
The Initial Training Wing (ITW) is a 3rd Battalion (DCS) School operated as part of S7 - Training. The Initial Training Wing transforms Cavalry Troopers to become qualified Aviators and Aircrew in fixed wing operations, and in Rotary operations. The School conducts basic level instruction, and evaluation. The School provides qualified land based and naval based pilots, ATC (Air Traffic Controller), FAC (Forward Air Controller), and C2 (Command and Control) personal. All instructors of the School are qualified Aviators in their respective field.
Order of Battle
The Initial Training Wing has several positions and areas of training.

ITW School Lead | The ITW School lead is responsible for command of the schoolhouse, and to ensure training is delivered to a high standard. |

ITW Publisher | The ITW Publishers are responsible for designing and authoring training manuals, coursework, and evaluations. |

ITW Senior | The ITW Seniors are responsible for administering advanced courses and evaluations. And to ensure training is delivered to a high standard. |

ITW Instructor | The ITW Instructors are responsible for administering courses and evaluations to the highest quality of their ability. |
