• Assign a Drill Instructor by noting in the folder "Assigned Drill Instructor: <RNK.DI-NAME>" after checking & updating DI Assignments.
 • Change the folder title from UNASSIGNED to DI Name.
 • Unstick the folder.

Creating a Folder

All Folder creation is automated Do not forgot to add the Recruit's name to the appropriate Bootcamp Class Number created by the automated folder. *You may need to start a new thread for this*

Send the Bootcamp Package

Once Folder is created you need to send a Boot Camp Package to the Enlistee & DI's to notify them of assignment.

Use the following Format:

The PM topic should be: Boot Camp Package Class XXX/XX/XX (class number)

Recruit, it is extremely important that you stay in contact with your Drill Instructor. You will receive a "Welcome Message" from your assigned DI so any questions you have direct them to Private message. Make sure you are checking your Private Messages on the 7th Cavalry website.

1.1 - Introduction

Hello Recruit!

You have now been assigned a Drill Instructor.

From this point onward, you will be in constant communication with your assigned Drill Instructor, until your graduation from Boot Camp. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your assigned Drill Instructor or any other Drill Instructor over TeamSpeak or on the Forums, using the Private Message system.

Your assigned Drill Instructors as listed:

<RCT.LAST.F> - <DI.LAST.F> <RCT.LAST.F> - <DI.LAST.F> <RCT.LAST.F> - <DI.LAST.F>

1.2 - AIT Process

You need to complete your Briefing and Boot camp within a 10-day time period, starting today. The Briefing is a short 30-50 minute sit down, where the Drill Instructor will give you important information regarding the 7th Cavalry that you will need to pass the Oral Test. Also, at this time for the ARMA 3 Recruits, we will take the time to set-up your ACRE2 for TeamSpeak 3 as well as our modpack that will be used during the Boot Camp.

After you have completed the Briefing, there is a minimum time of 24-hours between the Briefing and the Boot Camp, which consists of a series of weapon qualifications and movement exercises. Depending on the number of Recruits going through Boot Camp, they usually last no longer than 60–90 minutes, based on your game.

1.3 - Briefing/Mods Set-up

You will need to schedule a time for a briefing with your assigned Drill Instructor, please send a new PM to your assigned Drill Instructor with your online times for the next few days, so that we can arrange an appointment.

1.4 - Boot Camp

At the end of the briefing, you will be scheduled a day and time for your Boot Camp to be conducted on one of our servers by your assigned Drill Instructor. If you cannot attend any of the times listed below, please alert your Drill Instructor on the matter. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule as best as we can, but please understand that communication and replying in a timely manner is key.

1.5 - Boot Camp days and times

Tuesday - 0100 ZULU / 1700 ZULU Thursday - 0100 ZULU / 1700 ZULU Saturday - 0100 ZULU Sunday - 1400 ZULU / 1700 ZULU

YOU MUST ARRIVE 10-15 MINS PRIOR TO THE SCHEDULED TIME IN ORDER TO GET EVERYONE IN THE SERVER READY ON TIME.

NOTE: As a Trooper you have a period of 10 Days to complete Boot Camp. Failure to do so results in a discharge to make space for new recruits into our schedules. However we do make special exception in case of a reasonable excuse. All recruits must make their best attempt to attend Boot Camp during a scheduled Boot Camp time.
