Please allow this message to serve as S3 guidance on the posting of After Action Reports located here: 'After Action Reports' (hereafter simply AAR). The posting of AARs after a mission is mandatory, if any subunit of the 7th Cavalry is to be eligible for medals. As to the missions themselves fall under S3, therefore I have been given the task of setting a timeline for their completion. Please note that AARs posted quickly help not only members for their participation awards, but also helps S1so they can stay ahead of their work.
The maximum time to post a complete AAR* after the end of an operation will be 48 hours. As to the element leaders that post there AARs in response to the one listing participants, you will still have four days to add your content. After a window of 48 hours and there is no new topic for the op it will be as if the operation did not happen.
SOP on a complete AAR can be found here. The info that needs to be there before the 48 hour window as follows:
- Name of the Operation
- Game it was played on
- Date and time of Combat Mission
- Personnel Involved in Action
Signed,
Colonel Grgich, Alexander S3 OIC
