A trooper is any enlisted member of the 7th Cavalry within 1st or 2nd Battalion that is part of a section, and not the Section Leader. Troopers can retain their combat billet whilst volunteering for most secondary billets.   • Attending at least one section practice every week, minimum of one hour.
  • Attend any mandatory meetings and practices set forth by the Platoon / Company / Battalion command.
  • Adhere to the guidelines set forth by the section leader, and follow their instructions.
  • Follow the chain of command to bring up any issues within the section.
