Traditions and History
Traditions
Bravo Company is a sub-unit level organization of the 3rd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment. It is administratively known as B/3-7, this abbreviation is used in MILPACS and avatars. It is comprised of two platoons, 1/B/3-7 and 2/B/3-7.
History
Bravo Company was birthed from the expansion of the original DCS AO housed in Alpha Company in the Auxiliary Combat Detachment of the 7th Cavalry. Through growth in unit strength and formation of leadership, A/ACD was split into two companies, Alpha and Bravo, within its own new (3rd) Battalion. Bravo company operated under the DCS AO from 01 April 2024 until it was stood down on 07 January 2025.
Bravo Company was then reopened as an expansion of the original Squad AO housed in Charlie Company in the Auxiliary Combat Detachment of the 7th Cavalry. Charlie company saw a massive surge of growth in both numbers and excellence within leadership, and on 14 June 2025 C/ACD was split into two companies and 3rd Battalion was stood up once again to accommodate.
