<!-- January 2013:
Traycer enlisted in the 7th Cavalry on the 28th of August in 2009 and graduated bootcamp on the 6th of September. Traycer spent the first month of his 7th Cavalry career in Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion before transferring to Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion where he would remain for the next 2 years.

After having bore witness to senseless and constant abuses to members of the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment for just under a year (During the Plumbly era combined with CID/S2 obliterating peoples careers over at times, near nothing), he took it upon himself and was inspired to join the JAG Department. His interest was to become a member who assisted in defending what was right and particularly Troopers from the abuse of their authority and to ultimately become a JAG Corp Defense Attorney believing that everyone is innocent until proven guilty and deserved their fair chance of a Court Martial with representation. It took him a year and two months with ten months of service to see the beginning of the reality of this goal. To which he stated, it took every moment of preparation, learning the ins and outs of the Cav, and to be ready for the tasks given to him. Although he had only been an Attorney for around a month, his efforts for helping the Cav brethren were so profound, he was appointed JAG Chief Judge Advocate General in October of 2011 and given charge of the department as a whole.
Traycer distinguished himself for the month of February, 2010 in which he was awarded enlisted trooper of the month.

Traycer became the section leader of Bravo Section, Third Platoon, Bravo Company, Second Battalion on the 17th of June, 2010 at the rank of Corporal. Shortly thereafter in the month of August, then Sergeant Traycer received a battlefield commission to Second Lieutenant and was assigned the Platoon Leader of Third Platoon, Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion.

There is no job that is more difficult in the entirety of the 7th Cavalry Regiment than to be a JAG Corps Defense Attorney. The reason for this is because everyone will expect you to know the answers to everything and they will be out to destroy your defendant. Therefore, you must be perfect in all ways. It's expected to you to have been a member for several years if possible and obtained a primary billet of an Officer status. He made it required for you to make Attorney for Defense, you must obtain the rank of Captain O-3 for this reason. To be a Prosecutor, you must have first served as a distinguished Defense Attorney and be the most senior member of the JAG Corps other than the Judge himself. You must serve at a minimum of six months to a year or longer as a Clerk under an Attorney in order to become one so that you are well versed, prepared, and trained having first been an administrative assistant to an Attorney so that you yourself will know how to prepare for Cases prior to leading them. You must have no NCS on your record and have a Letter of Recommendation from your direct superior and a member of the JAG Corps must also write a Letter of Recommendation on your behalf. Once you are prepared for Attorney, you will be given an exam, participate in a mock Case, be part of a mock Trial, and pass with a 85% grade or higher. There is no greater honor than to become and succeed a 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment Attorney and there is no more difficult position than to be one. You are the frontline of Honor, integrity, and Discipline for the Regiment.
Traycer initially joined the Judge Advocate General Corps as a clerk shortly before his battlefield commission to Second Lieutenant. Traycer's work as a clerk set the foundations for his future career in the 7th Cavalry.

I have been diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's disease. I'm dying, I know I'm going to die soon, and I don't want everyone knowing because I don't want the Cav to think differently of me. I just want to spend my time helping others, doing what is right, and making sure others are okay so I can be there for them for their sake.
Traycer was appointed as the commander of Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion on the 2nd of January, 2011. Traycer would remain as company commander <!-- Not true, he previously was on ELOA for a short period -->until his discharge on the 30th of July, 2011 at the rank of Captain.

(He then went on to tell me I was the only person outside of JAG who knew this and if I could keep it to myself. I did. Eventually someone told the Generals. However, these details, by and large, were not public till around/after his discharge and up until he passed, most didn't know.)

From the day I graduated from Bootcamp 2013-01-19 until the day he Retired 2013-11-29, Traycer did not miss a single day on Teamspeak, he was on up to ten plus hours every single day, and his was always there for a Trooper in need of help regardless of rank or billet. He did what he loved and enjoyed helping the Cav as a whole. He moderated the forums, dealt with all disciplinary processes, and worked as a liaison with all departments. Nobody worked harder, put more time into the Cav, or continued with as much passion for his duties than Brigadier General Traycer did his final year serving in the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment.
During his time as a Judge Advocate General clerk, Traycer observed the shortcomings of the then current disciplinary system. These shortcomings included an easily abused punishment system that lacked moderation, impartiality, and due process. With these observations, Traycer devised a disciplinary system that set the foundations in which the modern [[Regimental Disciplinary Process|regimental disciplinary process]] would evolve from. Traycer's system included the implementation of discipline based on the severity of breach in rules, expressed in the Developmental Counseling Statement, Negative Counseling Statement, and Article 15/UCMJ procedures. Traycer pursued the implementation of this new system for the rest of his time in the Judge Advocate General corps. <!-- This is a gravely oversimplified description of the old system. There were much more factors at play that will not be revealed in this wiki article. In my opinion, the old system of punishment is not worthy of memory due to its very dark history. However if genstaff deems it worthy, more details could be disclosed in the future. ~ Vercin -->

(If not for him, I would not have been inspired to join JAG and eventually become Attorney and until the day he retired, he assisted me with my career giving advice and filling me in with intricate intel without me even asking.)
Shortly after his assignment as an attorney, Traycer was assigned the Chief Judge Advocate General on October 10th, 2011 and was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel shortly after his assignment.

Brigadier General Traycer went on to live just short of four more years. Near the end, he was far to unhealthy to participate within the Cav however, even as a Retired member and dying man, kept in touch with the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment until his passing.
Traycer distinguished himself on the 8th and 9th of October, 2011. Then Lieutenant Colonel Traycer prevented a mass transfer of 7th Cavalry members to a rival clan. Traycer's actions on these two days would earn him the bronze star.
