Role Description
RTC 1IC
  • Responsible for the ongoing health and morale of the department in all respects.
  • Must attend one of the CSCs in a given quarter.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the Department, such as reports, tickets, and disciplinary actions, or delegate to 2IC as needed.
  • Train and supervise RTC HQ staff.
  • Create and maintain record citations, or delegate as needed.
  • Maintain the overall integrity of all RTC records and data sets.
Role Description
RTC 2IC
  • Responsible for the ongoing health and morale of the department in all respects.

  • Primary point of contact for the Sub-Department Leads.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with the Department, such as monitoring departments, managing the permissions for personnel changes in the department.
  • Create and maintain record citations, or delegate as needed.

RTC Lead Drill Instructor
Tracking
Ensures Seniors are performing all of their duties in a timely manner.
Available and Open for Feedback
Handle any department-related issues or forward them to the RTC Headquarters.
Provide Direction
Verbally counsel staff as required to ensure adherence to rules/regulations/policies/codes.
Maintain Currency
Update and maintain departmental SOP as required.
User Permissions
Ensure all members have the correct access to resources required to fulfill their job requirements.
Accountability
Personnel accountability - monitor changes in departmental strength.
Prepared to Assume Higher Position
Be prepared to assume duties in case of absence or workload.
Available to DIs
Answer any questions the DIs or Seniors may have.
Timely and Responsible
Make contact with new Trainees within 24 hours of position announcement via PM.
Maintain Situational Awareness
Maintain the RTC Tracker.
Pass Direction and Guidance
Follow directions from RTC Command Staff.
Technical Reporting
Contact RTC Command Staff for technical issues with the Trackers.

RTC Senior Drill Instructor
Supervision
Ensure DIs are performing all of their duties in a timely manner.
Training
Hold training sessions with Trainees.
Oversight
Closely follow the work of Trainees and DI and check their work within 48 hours.
Communication
Let DIs know of any work approaching or past the deadline in the DI Folders.
Available to DIs
Answer any questions the DIs may have.
Quality Control
Perform Senior Checks within 24 hours of folder posting.

RTC Drill Instructor
Attention to Detail
Ensure no folders or actions go past the specified deadline (48 hours).
Timeliness
Ensure work past the deadline is completed immediately.
Issue Reporting
Notify Senior of any issues or technical problems.
Role Description
RTC Drill Instructor In Training (DIIT)
Training
Familiarize yourself with the AO by working under supervision.
Communication
Set up and attend your two training sessions with Operations Staff.
Questioning
Refer any questions you have to your AO Lead, Senior, or fellow DIs.
Adherence to Policy
Do not update or change anything unless under supervision.
Issue Reporting
Notify AO Leads of any issues or technical problems.
Adherence to Policy
Follow directions from the CoC.
