Role of the Trooper
A Trooper is the basic primary billet in the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment and lowest link in the Chain of Command. It is any enlisted member that is part of a Section, and not the Section Staff. Troopers can retain their combat/primary billet whilst volunteering for most secondary billets. A Trooper will not be able to advance past the rank of Corporal (E-4) unless a leadership billet is attained. Troopers are what make up the vast majority of all combat billets; they are the soldiers who train weekly to keep their skills honed, and act as the front-line fighting force of the Regiment.
Responsibilities
The following is a list of basic responsibilities. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, merely the base from which to start. Refer to the Trooper Initial Counseling Statement in the Company or Battalion SOPs for a more complete list of duties and responsibilities.
- Attend Section Practice (SP) once per week for a minimum of one hour.
- Sign roll call once per week.
- Attend any mandatory meetings, trainings, and practices set forth by the Trooper's direct Chain of Command.
- Adhere to the guidelines set forth by the Section Leader, and follow their orders and instructions, as well as any other direct superiors in the Trooper's Chain of Command.
- Follow the Chain of Command to bring up any issues within the Section.
- Communicate and participate on the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment Discord Server: https://discord.gg/7cav
- Other duties as required.
