Mission Statement

The S5 Graphics Department is responsible for creating requested graphics within the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment. These include squad patches, company patches, member signatures, promotional banners, and other graphic designs. Our skilled artists ensure that every request meets high-quality standards and satisfies the requestee.

Graphics SOP

Initial Request Review

  • Signature Request: Requestee must be a PFC (E-3) or higher.
  • Patch Request: Requires approval from a billeted Squad Leader (SL) or higher.
  • Promotional Banner Request: Requires approval from Department 1IC, Company Commander, or higher.

Acknowledgement and Progress Tracking

  • Confirm receipt of the request and begin work.
  • Change the thread prefix to "In Process" and stick the thread.

Draft Submission

  • Post the first draft within 7 days of the thread opening and change the prefix to "Awaiting Review."

Feedback and Response

  • Monitor the thread for feedback and make necessary revisions.

Completion

  • Once the request is finalized, change the prefix to "Complete" and unstick the thread.

Graphics Duties

Responsibilities of S5 Graphic Senior

  • Report issues to the Graphics Lead.
  • Supervise and train Clerks.
  • Ensure timely assignment and completion of graphic projects.
  • Upload completed graphics to the correct directories on the shared S5 Google Drive.
  • Maintain personnel accoutability for adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities of S5 Department Clerk

  • Report to their respective AO Lead/Senior.
  • Follow the guidelines set by the AO Lead.
  • Complete additional tasks assigned by leadership.
  • Minimum Rank requirement is PFC

Graphics Clerk Project Timeline:

  • 3 Days: Accept the project and notify the requester.
  • 7 Days: Post the first draft on the thread.
  • 14 Days: Complete the project. Failure to meet the deadline may result in a Disciplinary Counseling Statement (DCS).
  • Monthly Minimum: Accept and complete at least one project.

All graphics must meet the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment standards of professionalism and decency.

  • Signatures: 700 x 200 pixels at 300 DPI (centered)
  • Frontpage Rotating Banners: 1260 x 400 pixels at 300 DPI
