Introduction

The Initial Training Wing (ITW) is a 3rd Battalion (DCS) School operated as part of S7 - Training. The Initial Training Wing transforms Cavalry Troopers to become qualified Aviators and Aircrew in fixed wing operations, and in Rotary operations. The School conducts basic level instruction, and evaluation. The School provides qualified land based and naval based pilots, ATC (Air Traffic Controller), FAC (Forward Air Controller), and C2 (Command and Control) personal. All instructors of the School are qualified Aviators in their respective field.
