==Scope==
This document outlines the authority of creating a new MOS and the procedures of opening a MOS within a company.

==Creating a New MOS==
When creating a new MOS within an AO in 2nd Battalion the following things are required:
# Approval from the Battalion Commander.
# The MOS does not conflict/overlap with an existing MOS within the AO.
# A written proposal that includes:
## The proposed scope of the MOS I.E. Does this MOS fill the niche of utilizing specific assets, tactics, game/meta needs, etc.
## An outline of training material that can show topics can stay new and fresh without having to repeat topics frequently.
# The MOS should mesh well with any other MOS in the Company. (This will be up to the discretion of the Battalion Commander)

==Opening an Existing MOS==
When opening a new section of an already approved MOS there are two general scenarios.
# If the company already has section(s) of the MOS open, they are free to open another one.
# If a section wants to convert from one MOS to another, they must transfer to the Company that hosts that specific MOS.

If what you are doing does not fall into one of these two scenarios, Battalion Staff <b>MUST</b> be consulted.
