Org Chart of all RTC Positions

Officer in Charge (OIC)

  • In command of the Department
  • Post Discharges on Sundays
  • RTC position and medal postings and personnel management
  • Ensures the XO and NCOIC are completing their responsibilities
  • When the NCOIC & XO is not available, will perform the DIIT examination
  • Assists XO and NCOIC in their duties as needed
  • Reports to Regimental Command Staff​

Executive Officer (XO)

  • Post Graduations on Sundays
  • Works with OIC to update and maintain RTC assets
  • Ensures NCOIC is completing their responsibilities
  • When the NCOIC is not available, will perform the DIIT examination
  • Assists OIC and NCOIC in their duties as needed
  • Reports to Officer In Command​

Lead Drill Instructor (LDI)

  • Works with RTC Command to update and maintain RTC assets
  • Add recruits to the RTC Tracker
  • Conducts DI examinations for DIITs
  • Ensures that Senior Drill Instructors are assigning folders within 24 hours
  • Reports to the 2IC & 1IC

Senior Drill Instructor (SrDI)

  • Responsible for the training of DIITs
  • Add recruits to the RTC Tracker
  • Manages folder updates and assignments
    • RCT folders are assigned to DIs and DIITs within 24 hours​
  • Ensures that DIs update their assigned folders every 48 hours
  • Conducts DI examinations for DIITs
  • Performs the additional duties of a Drill Instructor
  • Reports to NCOIC​

Drill Instructor

  • Conduct Briefings
  • Conduct Bootcamps
  • Updates RCTs folders at least every 48 hours
  • Reports to their Senior Drill Instructor​

Drill Instructor in Training (DIIT)

  • Attends training sessions conducted by their Senior Drill instructor
  • Conducts boot camps and briefings accompanied by Drill instructors and Senior Drill Instructors
    • Observe briefings and bootcamps conducted by any Drill Instructors​
  • Updates RCTs folders at least every 48 hours
  • When deemed ready by their Senior Drill Instructor, takes the DIIT examination
  • Reports to their Senior Drill Instructor​
