7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment Imagery
No image may be used in an official capacity of the Regiment without the written approval of the Regimental Commanding Officer. This includes, but is not limited to: Forum Avatars, Forums Signature Blocks, Promotional Material (advertising Ops or other official events), or any other function meant to represent the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment or one of its sub-units in an official capacity.
Approval Process
In order to obtain approval for an image to be used, you must submit it in high resolution format with an explanation of the contents of the image and the symbolism behind it. The General Staff will review your submission and if approved will have it added to the page containing approved imagery. Submissions for approval may be made on our forums by sending a Forum PM to General Staff.
Official Imagery
All approved imagery for Avatars, Signature Blocks, and unit patches are located here: Avatars.
Forum Avatars
Anytime a member of the 7th Cavalry regiment is representing themselves as a member of this unit, they must, when possible, use official 7th Cavalry Avatars that contain approved imagery. Those can be found here: Avatars.
Special Avatars
Mourning Bands
Currently the 7th Cavalry Gaming Regiment observes its own Memorial Day on 22 August of every year. Avatars containing Mourning Bands may be worn the month of 7th Cavalry Memorial Day, which is August. Mourning Bands for a specific event may be worn for 30 days following the event for which the band is created.
Squad/Section Specific Avatars
Members may display Avatars that contain approved imagery specific to their Company, Platoon, or Section.
Forum Signature Blocks
Forums signature block guidelines:
- Only 1 image allowed.
- Image must not be larger than 700 pixels high and 200 pixels wide (700x200).
- Must not violate the 7Cav regulations/Forum TOS in regards to religion, politics, or inappropriate imagery.
